We offer five distinct shutter styles, each designed for specific applications and preferences. Full height shutters cover the entire window from sill to top, providing maximum privacy and the cleanest visual finish. They're the most popular style we fit and work in virtually every room.

Café style shutters cover only the lower portion of the window, maintaining privacy at eye level while leaving the top open for maximum daylight. They're inspired by the charming half-shuttered windows of European cafés and are particularly popular for street-facing ground-floor rooms.

Tier-on-tier shutters feature independently operating top and bottom sections, giving you the ultimate flexibility. Open the top for light and fresh air while keeping the bottom closed for privacy — or any other combination. They're especially well-suited to sash windows and taller period windows.

Tracked system shutters slide along a discreet top-mounted track, making them ideal for wide openings like patio doors, sliding doors and room dividers. They stack neatly to one side and don't swing into the room like hinged panels.

Solid shutters are the traditional, original shutter style — full flat panels without louvres. They provide total blackout and the best thermal insulation of any shutter type, making them the ideal choice for bedrooms and period homes where historical accuracy matters.

The material you choose affects the look, weight, durability and price of your shutters. Our premium hardwood shutters are made from sustainably sourced timber and offer the finest grain, the most satisfying feel, and the widest range of paint and stain finishes. They're the choice for homeowners who want the very best.

For a more affordable option without compromising on appearance, our MDF shutters deliver a crisp, clean finish at a lower price point. They're painted to a high standard and are available in all the same styles as hardwood. MDF shutters are lighter than hardwood, which can be an advantage for larger panel configurations.

For bathrooms, wet rooms and kitchens, we offer waterproof ABS shutters. These synthetic shutters are completely impervious to moisture, humidity and condensation. They won't warp, swell or deteriorate in wet environments, and they look virtually identical to painted timber shutters.

All our shutters are available in a comprehensive palette of painted colours — from pure whites and soft greys to bold charcoals and heritage shades. Custom colour matching is also available if you have a specific shade in mind. Hardwood shutters can additionally be finished in natural, stained or limed wood effects.
