Elegant Fabric Blinds
Roman Blinds
Soft, elegant, and beautifully structured. Roman blinds bring a touch of luxury to any room — folding neatly into soft pleats when raised and lying flat for a clean finish when lowered.
Soft Elegance for Every Room
Roman blinds combine the softness and warmth of curtains with the clean, practical operation of a blind. When lowered, the fabric lies flat against the window for a neat, streamlined look. When raised, it gathers into beautiful, even horizontal pleats that add texture, depth and visual interest. It's this combination of elegance and functionality that makes roman blinds one of the most popular choices for bedrooms, living rooms and dining areas.
Our roman blind collection covers hundreds of fabrics — from lightweight linens and voiles through to rich velvets, chenilles and full blackout materials. Whether you want a subtle, tonal blind that blends into your décor or a bold pattern that makes a statement, we'll help you find the perfect fabric during your free home consultation.
Every roman blind we supply is made to measure and professionally fitted by our own family team. We use deluxe headrails with continuous chain control as standard, ensuring smooth, reliable operation that lasts for years. We never subcontract, so you'll always know exactly who's coming to your home.

Choosing Fabrics for Your Roman Blinds
The fabric is everything with a roman blind. It's the single biggest factor in how the finished blind will look, feel and perform. That's why we bring our complete sample collection to your home during the consultation — so you can see textures, colours and patterns in your own natural light and against your existing furnishings.
For bedrooms, we recommend pairing a beautiful face fabric with a blackout lining. This gives you the elegant appearance you want during the day and complete light-blocking at night. Our blackout linings are available in white, cream or matching colours and are sewn into the blind during manufacture for a neat, professional finish.
Living rooms and dining areas suit medium-weight fabrics like cottons, linens and textured weaves. These create generous, well-defined pleats when raised and hang beautifully when lowered. For a more luxurious feel, velvet and chenille roman blinds add richness and depth — they're particularly stunning in deeper, jewel-toned colours.
Lighter fabrics like voile and muslin can be used for a roman blind that filters light rather than blocking it. These work well in kitchens and rooms where you want to maintain brightness while softening harsh direct sunlight. For areas with moisture concerns, we can advise on specialist coated fabrics.
How Roman Blinds Are Made and Fitted
Every roman blind begins with a precise measurement of your window. We check the width, drop and recess depth, and note any obstructions that might affect the fit. This precision is essential because roman blinds need to sit perfectly within or over the window frame to look their best.
The blind is then manufactured using your chosen fabric, with horizontal rods sewn into pockets at regular intervals. These rods create the even, structured pleats that define the roman blind look. The fabric is attached to a deluxe aluminium headrail with a continuous chain control mechanism for smooth, reliable raising and lowering.
We offer three lining options: unlined for a lighter, more translucent look; standard lining for improved light-blocking and fabric protection; and full blackout lining for complete darkness. The lining is sewn into the blind during manufacture, not added as an afterthought, ensuring a clean finish from both inside and outside.
Installation is carried out by our own team. We mount the headrail, check the chain tension, adjust the cord locks, and ensure the blind raises and lowers evenly. We won't leave until everything operates perfectly and you're completely happy with the result.
